The story of Amanda + Luke began several years prior, after meeting through a mutual friend at the time. Luke ‘poked’ Amanda on Facebook several times before adding her (he won’t admit this, according to Amanda – who obviously filled out their pre wedding questionnaire). After their first kiss out the front of Luke’s parents house after their first date (at Max Brenner, Highpoint), their future was written in the stars – which brings us to today, the day these two in love souls come together as one in marriage.
It was a great day enjoyed by all, as Luke + Amanda got ready in their respective houses, with excitement buzzing from early in the morning knowing what the afternoon would entail. Luke + the boys had an easy going morning, looking stylish in their Briggins suits. On arrival at Amanda’s preparations, the girls were cool calm and collected – casually chatting and enjoying the bubbly. All things girly were on hand for makeup, with Jessica Woods styling the hair for Amanda and the girls – all of whom looked absolutely divine. Amanda looked radiant in her Fairytail Bridal dress.
The Ceremony and Reception were held at Melbourne Museum, which was a great and inviting location for all guests and friends to mingle and enjoy the Summer weather. Jason McCheyne officiated a light hearted ceremony, which truly reflected the easy going, warm and free spirited natures of both Amanda + Luke.
Working alongside Justin Hill Photography was an enjoyable experience once again – as we teamed up to capture the natural celebrations unfolding late into the night.
Thank you so much Amanda + Luke for entrusting me to capture your special day.
