Encore St Kilda Wedding | Melbourne Wedding Videography

Caitlin + Sam. Encore St Kilda

Melbourne is notorious for its unpredictable weather. Perfect sun-shiny skies one day, hail and thunder the next. It's almost impossible to plan anything - especially one of the biggest days of your life, your wedding day - unknowing what the weather will bring. To Caitlin + Sam's credit, they embraced everything and enjoyed every single moment of their special day. Plenty of laughs, smiles and fits of giggles as we were all getting soaked on Station Pier, armed with umbrellas -- loved every second of their day.

As the morning kicked off, Caitlin + Sam exchanged gifts + cards with one another which sparked a few heartfelt chuckles and happy tears. Sam + the boys were all super casual and chilling with a couple of bevvies on our arrival, before getting suited up in their Tarocash suits with RM Williams boots. The ladies were in the midst of hair and makeup (by Maria Murrells + Glamourfield by Lizi Hance) as we soon arrived for the final touches - and despite the weather, all was calm and chilled. Caitlin looked absolutely exquisite in her Empire Bridal dress with florals by Buds n Roses.

Arriving at the ceremony, St Joseph's church in Port Melbourne, family and friends arrived in a sea of umbrellas, as the weather subsided briefly as Caitlin soon made her grand arrival courtesy of ExoticLimo Australia. You couldn't wipe the smile off Sam's face as Caitlin made her entrance - and both were soon pronounced husband and wife by Father Jeff.

To say we had an absolute ball during the photo session alongside our mate Jim from Justin + Jim Photographers was an understatement - even though it was freezing and all were getting soaked, the laughter was aplenty and Caitlin, Sam and their bridal party were absolute troupers. They were all just immersed in happiness and love which radiates through their short film.

As guests soon arrived at Encore St Kilda, after a few speeches there's nothing quite like smashing your wedding cake with a couple of hammers to get the party started (Smash Cake Melbourne). The Baker Boys kept the music pumping all through the night as all were celebrating the start of Caitlin + Sam's married life together.

Caitlin + Sam... Thanks so much, you two brilliant people.
