Like the start of all great love stories, Claire + Bruno met when they were working at Big W. Claire was attracted to Bruno's cheeky smile, whilst Bruno was lost in Claire's eyes. After a good six month period of getting to know each other, Claire initiated the next step, asking Bruno on a first date and after several of these over a six week period, they finally committed to being in a relationship (all initiated by Claire as she points out in the questionnaire).
What an absolutely gorgeous day. Melbourne weather can be unpredictable at times and after a previous 24 hours of questionable temperatures, the sun put on a show for the wedding of Claire + Bruno - and it couldn't have been more perfect.
Commencing the day with Bruno and Claire getting ready in their respective houses alongside their bridal party, it was effortless to capture the candid and relaxed nature of their wedding day alongside Sharne + Allie from Aria Photography. Bruno looked mighty dapper in his Joe Black suit, whilst Claire was the epitome of beauty in her Essense of Australia gown, with florals by Chic Flowers by Katherine, and hair and makeup by All Things Girlie Hair & Makeup Artistry.
The ceremony, held at St Michael's Uniting Church in CBD Melbourne, was a sweet celebration, as Reverend David Dawes joined Claire + Bruno together as husband and wife in front of their closest family and friends.
We had plenty of time afterwards to stroll around Carlton Gardens and the top end of Collins Street capturing Claire, Bruno and their awesome bridal party - filled with laughs and celebrations. We were blessed with some pretty spectacular light in golden hour which made for heavenly video.
As the night kicked on at Showtime Events, Sarah Stone & Angus Legg kept the tunes pumping and dancefloor populated throughout the night, with Melbourne Photobooth Hire keeping all entertained and guests parting onwards.
Thanks so much, Claire + Bruno for a spectacular day.
