Dannyell + Ashley . Immerse Winery

Weather is unpredictable. Especially in Melbourne, even more so in Yarra Valley. The week prior, bright blue sunny skies - then next minute, its the coldest day in March in 41 years... this was the day that Dannyell + Ashley exchanged vows and finally became husband and wife.

You couldn't tell it was absolutely freezing on their day of days when watching their short film... both Dannyell + Ashley were in their perfect love bubble, surrounded by their closest family and friends - and yes, whilst there was sporadic downpours of rain and thunder, nothing seemed to faze them both from having such a splendid day.

With everything on site at Immerse Winery, this meant it would be such a relaxed day meaning we wouldn't have to battle the traffic or venture offsite for photos. All day, Dannyell + Ashley were within arms reach of their family and friends of whom were most important to them.

Working alongside the lovely Tizia May Photography, preparations were such a breeze as Dannyell + Ashley got dressed amongst their respective bridal tribes. Once hair and makeup had been completed (Oshun Salon + Make up by Sarah King), Dannyell slipped into her stunning gown complimented by florals by Lilac and Rose. Ashley had organised for their kids (Mason + Maya) to gift his wife-to-be surprise honeymoon tickets to the Maldives).

The exquisite legend Shannon Jeans officiated such an amazing ceremony in the onsite chapel at Immerse - a perfect blend of love and laughter... and tears from Ashley as he read his personal vows. Such a sweet moment.

As guests huddled in the warm during canape hour, we headed around the grounds of Immerse for some candid moments with the newlyweds and bridal party. These two were complete naturals in front of the camera... clearly in love.

As the day turned into night, the reception kicked into full swing with music by The White Tree rocking out the dance floor, keeping everyone on their toes dancing for warmth.

Thanks so much, Dannyell + Ashley for such a grand day.
