Part of the job which I love the most is meeting some pretty amazing people. Amazingly happy people on a weekly basis. They are our brides, grooms, their families and closest friends. It’s humbling to know they have invited us in to their specialist of days, to cover their special moments and celebrations filled with so much love and happiness. There are no strangers here. Just friends and family.

Kate and Jase… what an absolute delight. When I first chatted with Kate at the beginning of this year, I couldn’t help but be left with a smile. So genuine. So lovely. So excited for her day and to marry her man. When I finally met with Kate and Jason a few weeks later, everything began to fall into place. Quiet simply. Quiet easy. Kate and Jason were perfect for each other – you could see it in their eyes every time they glanced in each others direction as they were talking about each other, or their upcoming wedding day. Jason was easy going, friendly, cool, calm and collected. This is what love is.

There is something to be said about weddings in country Victoria… I’m not sure if it’s the air, the ambience or serenity of the country air – weddings in the country seem to take on a different tone to those we are commonly used to in central Melbourne amidst the hustle and bustle of traffic and city life.
