What a stellar day! Yarra Valley weather certainly put on a show for Emina + Goran who were married in absolute pristine conditions surrounded by friends and family… the perfect ingredients for an amazing wedding.

Rocking up to the boys preps in Healesville alongside all-round legend Michael Briggs Photography, the beats were pumpin’ and the drinks were free flowing – Goran and his mates were in party central and ready for a great day ahead. The boys looked ultra-dapper dressed by The Suit Concierge. Onto the girls, as they were having their final hair and makeup touches by ZF Makeup Artistry with excitement building of what was to come in a few short hours.

Emina was positively glowing in her dress by Raffael Ciuca (Maggie Sottero Designs) complimented by gorgeous florals by Red Earth Flowers. You couldn’t wipe a smile off Emina’s face – happiness and love radiated throughout the day.

After a quick last minute switch-a-roo for the ‘first look’ location, we headed off to Redwood Forest in East Warburton – the right decision made. I love capturing the few moments before a couple see each other on their wedding day – excitement quivering, hearts beating a million beats per minute… and that moment, when they see each other for the first time on their wedding day… pure happiness. You can’t script it.

After a few happy snaps at Redwood Forest with the bride and groom to be (alongside their bridal party), we headed to Zonzo Estate where guests were arriving ahead of the ceremony – officiated by TV weatherman Mike Larkin.

As the reception kicked into gear, we made use of the golden hour strolling the grounds with Emina + Goran – these two were absolute pros. So natural in front of the camera. And we captured some real gold.

As guests enjoyed the stellar backdrop and drinks, The Photobooth Girl was on site to ensure everyone got snap happy before Mercury DJ Hire populated the dance floor with some tunes… these guests know how to party!

Thanks so much, Emina + Goran for a great day 🙂

Here’s some snaps by Briggsy…
