You know those days where you just don't want it to ever end because you're having the best day and everything is just so perfect...
Welcome to Chloe + Chris' wedding held within the exquisite grounds of Flowerdale Estate, surrounded by rolling hills and breathtaking views as far as the eye can see. This place has been on my bucket list for quite a while now, and I'm so glad Chloe + Chris could pop that wedding cherry for us to capture their mint celebration.
After 10 years of love, they finally sealed the deal as Victoria was finally regaining to a sense of normality after a snap lockdown a few weeks prior. Choosing not to conform to any norm, Chloe + Chris has their dream celebration the way they wanted - ending with a massive celebration alongside their closest family and friends.
Laughter from beginning to end, their day was such a delight to document. Preparations were smooth sailing - with Chris + the boys chilling out at Hickey Valley Farm Lodge, before being surprised with transportation to the ceremony (all organised in secret by Chloe). Onsite at Flowerdale, final touch ups were well underway by amazingness and full of energy Makeup by Sophie Knox. Chloe soon slipped into her STUNNING attire by Georgia Young Couture, complimented with florals by The Petal Project.
Their ceremony was officiated by one of my favourite people ever - Shannon Jeans. This legend knocks it out of the park every single time and is such a sweet talent. Defying tradition, Chloe + Chris wrote each other’s vows and read them for the first time in front of all their guests... absolutely hilarious and sweet.
As guests enjoyed the beautiful sun and canapés on the decking at Flowerdale Estate, photographer Danielle Sargent and I scoured the grounds with the newlyweds and their wedding party - Dani is so amazing to work alongside and super cruisy, meaning the natural moments come easily and laughter is genuine throughout the day.
Their day was organised and styled by the delightful Luci from Poni Studio - such a gem of a human to work alongside.
With the sun fading, The Baker Boys ensured the party was on point and lasting long into the night - thank goodness they had my fav Rebel Donuts for dessert to sustain all the calories burnt on the d-floor.
Chloe + Chris, what more can I say? Thank you. Love you both.
