Jenna + Ben. Chateau Dore

They met back in August 2010, when they both were enjoying a night out at a local Ballarat pub called Bluestone. Jenna was there with her friend Julie celebrating her sister Rachel's 18th Birthday. Ben was there with a few uni mates - one of whom knew Julie, so naturally, the parties collided and soon Jenna + Ben got talking and they hit it off instantaneously. After a date at the movies a few days later, fate was sealed which has brought us to their wedding day which I am sharing with you today.

What an absolutely splendid day was had at Jenna + Ben's wedding - I feel so lucky to do what I do and call it "work" because when you're with people like Jenna + Ben, and their bridal party and families - it doesn't feel like work at all. A chilled, relaxed and high energy day was had by all.

We kicked things off with Jenna + Ben's respective preparations - with lots of laughs and candidness ensuing. With hair and makeup completed on time by our arrival (thanks Wax Gallery + Bendigo Hair and Beauty), after a few cheeky sips of bubbles, it was soon time for Jenna to slip effortlessly into her Always and Forever Bridal gown, complimented by florals by The Eternal Vase.

The day started out a little differently after getting ready they both saw each other for the first time near Lake Neangar before all jumping in the limo to head to Chateau Dore - one of our most favourite places in Bendigo.

Working alongside buddy Jim from Justin + Jim Photographers was a treat and a half - always have a laugh and enjoy collaborating alongside fellow legends. We wandered the grounds of Chateau Dore capturing a few snaps before their garden ceremony, officiated by Robyn Houghton which was full of love and light.

After the 'i dos', Jenna + Ben joined their guests for a couple of hours on the lawn for pre-dinner drinks and canapes, whilst listening to the sweet tunes by Knot music. As the golden light was reaching its peak, we stole Jenna + Ben for a few last light pics and got the drone out... who doesn't love some drone action as the sun sets?!

Thanks so much, Jenna + Ben for such a rad day - you both were absolutely amazing and wishing you all the very best for your lives together.
