The weather gods of Bendigo certainly put on a show for Melissa + Tom's special day, and I'm elated to finally share their short film which is filled with laughter, high energy and amazing people. I remember first meeting with Melissa + Tom at a bridal expo back at the start of 2017 - they were both super chilled, easy going and excited for their day ahead... the perfect ingredients for a wedding day.
Flash forward to the day of all days, you couldn't have asked for better conditions. From sunrise to sunset we were greeted with stellar light, comfortable temperatures and an endless sea of smiles and laughter.
Rocking up to the boy's house, they were all chilling having a couple of drinks before getting suited up in their Formal Red Suits. Ditto at the girl's preparations - the energy was electric as Melissa was finishing up with her hair and makeup (Jaime Adelle Makeup+ Vibe Hair), and after a few sneaky champagnes with her bride tribe, it was time to get into her stunning Jack Sullivan Bridal gown complimented with florals by The Eternal Vase.
Waratah Weddings was the tranquil location for the ceremony - what an amazing place to exchange "I do's". As family and friends gathered, Melissa soon made her grand arrival in a massive limo - you couldn't wipe the smile off Tom's face through the entire ceremony, officiated by Michael Anderson.
Alongside our mates Justin + Jim, we utilized the grounds of Waratah capturing some happy snaps of the newlyweds and bridal party (accompanied by an eski), before heading onto the Botanical Gardens which was where Tom had proposed to Melissa. Their pup Jobe made a guest appearance for some pics in time for the golden light of sunset - how picturesque.
Thanks so much, Melissa + Tom - for being absolutely amazing people and an enjoyment to capture. Wishing you both all the happiness for your future together :)
