Nicola + Max . Morrisons Winery

You know the days which you just don't want to tend… the ones which everything seems to work seamlessly, never once feeling like a 'work' day and you have the best time hanging out with some pretty amazing people capturing all the smiles and celebrations?

Yes, this was one of those days. Mint AF. Frickin' amazing. Legendary throughout and never wanting it to end.

To give some background, Nicola and Max were actually set to be married in October 2019. I still remember the phone call I got from Nicola in September that year informing me that Max had unfortunately broken his leg playing football whilst Nicola was partying it up on her hens day. Reschedule town it was. They pushed back their date, Max's leg recovered and Nicola got a second hens day… winning all round! So to say that there has been a long wait for these two to tie the knot is an understatement and couldn't be more thrilled now to finally share their film.

Carpooling (without karaoke) with Jim (of Justin + Jim legends) from Bendigo, we made the trek to Echuca on one of the most delightful weather days ever… absolutely perfect conditions and we were set for a blast of a day. Its always a great day when working alongside Jim - starting the morning the right way with donuts and ice cream.

Meeting the boys at High St. Barber where they were spruced up whilst enjoying a couple of bevvies, before suiting up looking all dapper (thanks Gibson Suits). The laughs and excitement continued arriving at Nicola's preparations - as hair and makeup was finishing up (Leah's Hair Styling + Makeup by Molly Rushe). Cue the champagne showers before Nicola slipped into her exquisite Blue Bell Bridal gown, complimented with florals by Bryants Buds Echuca.

I can't begin to express how much I love weddings at Morrisons Winery - one of my most favorite places alongside the Murray River. Jess and the team really do go above and beyond and always have such a blast of a day every time I'm fortunate to capture a wedding there.

As family and friends arrive - and after their pup Jax made his grand entrance to their ceremony, Nicola's brother Aaron (Ceremonies by Aaron - check this legend out) officiated such a heartfelt and sweet ceremony.

Hanging out all day with Nicola, Max and their stellar bridal party never felt like work for one second - all were game for everything, plenty of laughs were had and there was so much joy in every single moment both Jim and I captured.

The party was far from over as the reception kicked off with musical talent Jessica Lorraine ensuring the dance-floor was populated at all times (including by me at some point but hey, gotta give the people what they want, yeh?).

Thanks for having me along for the ride, Nicola + Max.
