Allow me to invite you to Naomi + Bec’s ‘Festival of Love’. Far from the traditional wedding day, the girls created such an epic boho inspired three day glamping festival for their closest friends and family at our favourite place, The Log Cabin Ranch.
Naomi + Bec are two of the nicest people you will meet, and it was an immense pleasure to be invited to capture their special day. Rather than following the norm for ‘wedding days’, they made it their own in each and every way… exactly how a wedding day should be.
Kicking things off with hair and makeup at Champagne and China Cups – a hidden gem in Olinda – Naomi + Bec were kept apart by a fabric curtain, surrounded by their bride tribe getting pampered and prepared for the days proceedings. After getting ready in their respective glamping tents (thanks to Happy Glamper) – Naomi + Bec had their ‘first look’ which calmed the nerves as they were able to share the moment together as a couple.
Friends and family arrived as the ceremony soon commenced, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house with Naomi + Bec’s heartfelt (and humorous) vows to one another – all tied together by the wonderful celebrant Naomi Korolew who is an absolute gem and was the perfect fit for the brides to be.
Weather wise – it was a stunner. Seriously, you couldn’t fault the light and we were spoilt with the very best conditions throughout the entire day. As guests mingled on the lawn enjoying games and scrumptious food, we headed around the beautiful property of LCR alongside Lachy from Dust + Salt Photography (who is an absolute rad talent and pleasure to work alongside).
Keeping formalities to a minimum, Naomi + Bec simply wanted to enjoy every second of their day – and party it up in their festival of love… and that’s exactly what they did. And they did it well.
Thank you so much ladies – you two are the absolute best and it has been a great pleasure to get to know you both and capture your special day.
