Nicole + Jason’s wedding had all the ingredients for a perfect day. The weather was on point, the supplier team was absolutely amazing – but most importantly, both Nicole + Jason kept things simple and soaked up every moment of their day surrounded by those who mattered most to them.
We kicked things off with preparations – excitement was high on our arrival with Nicole + Jason getting ready respectively about 5 mins from one another. As the boys suited up, Nicole and her bride tribe were pampered by Glow Beauty and hair by Kristy Patullo, before slipping into her exquisite gown, complimented with florals by The Flower Spot.
We soon arrived at Sacred Heart Cathedral – where Fr Rob Galea officiated such a heartfelt and dignified ceremony before announcing them both as husband and wife. There’s something special about the cathedral at Bendigo – every wedding I capture there has been absolute bliss and full of love.
Alongside the legend himself, Lars Heinicke Weddings – we spent some time with the newlyweds and their stellar bridal party capturing some candid moments around Bendigo. It was such a pleasure working alongside Lars – aside from being one hell of a talent and absolute ripper guy, it makes the day so much easier when there is a photo/video team which shares the same ethos and passion capturing weddings as I do.
We soon arrived at our favourite place in Bendigo, Chateau Dore, where we would spend the remainder of the evening celebrating alongside Nicole + Jason. The Eternal Vase decked out the reception room with stellar florals, whilst Wedding Musician Jake Turner kept the good tunes pumping all through the night and ensured everyone was making moves on the d-floor.
All in all, such an amazing day. Thanks for having me, Nicole + Jason for your Bendigo Wedding Videography.
