Rachael + Matt had known each other for about 15 years or so and had been friends throughout that time. Then one day, the stars aligned, there was an energy between them – a connection… fate was pulling them together – so the adventures of #wallwaysandforever began.
Tindarra Resort hosted the wedding celebrations and you couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. Aside from the dust storm through part of the photo session, absolutely stellar conditions.
Our day began as Rachael + Matt got ready in separate villas on site. As the girls were pampered by Kaila Rushe Hair + makeup by Adriana Basile, before slipping into her absolutely stunning Grace Loves Lace Gown. The boys suited up well and after a careful fold of their pocket squares, they celebrated with a few beers.
The ceremony was held on the lawn overlooking the picturesque Murray River, where guests were greeted with a drink and an amazing floral display by Wallingford Flowers. As Rachael made her grand entrance, Matt had the biggest smile on his face as his bride to be made her way towards him. Celebrant Kate officiated such a wonderful and heartfelt ceremony, as Rachael + Matt exchanged personal vows which were the perfect blend of romantic and hysterics. Our fav Tyler Hudson serenaded guests as backing ceremony vocals, as it was soon time to pronounce a new Mr + Mrs to the world.
Alongside Andrea Sissons Photography (and Tamara), we headed offsite for some pics with the amazing bridal party and newlyweds – what a wild day. Capturing some amazing sun flares one minute, to being trapped in a dust storm as the storm clouds rolled over Moama later that evening.
Making it back in one piece, the marquee reception was in full swing on our arrival – as guests were enjoying a delightful grazing platter and taking in the serenity of Tindarra Resort. Essence Duo ensured the party was pumping all through the night with their tunes.
Thanks, Rachael + Matt for a stellar day!
