So many laughs on their day of days, and it was an absolute delight to capture Stevie + Mitch on the warmest of days back in March this year.
They have known each other practically all their lives, even attending swimming classes together at a young age. Stevie always had a secret crush on Mitch but lost touch during their teenage years as their lives moved in different directions. Afterwards, meanwhile, sparks were shared and they have been inseparable ever since.
They were married on Mitch's parent's property in Narre Warren North on one uber warm and slightly humid day. But because of both of their relaxed natures and ample timing, both Stevie + Mitch were able to enjoy every second surrounded by those mattered most to them.
We kicked things off onsite with Mitch getting suited up in his all-black attire and having a few bevvies. Hair and makeup were completed by the time of our arrival at Stevie's preparations (thanks heaps Katie Winkler Makeup Artist + Jenny Steer) and after a glass of sneaky champagne (and hysterics on getting bridesmaid Sarah's dress zipped up)... Stevie slipped effortlessly into her Grace Loves Lace gown, with blooms by Flowers by Brett Matthew John.
After seeing each other at their first look, alongside Mark Davis Photography, we wandered the private property for some candid pics, before escaping the heat as the couple and bridal party enjoyed the air conditioning and savoured every moment in the lead up to the ceremony.
After the formal "i do's", guests picked up and transported their own seating to the reception - under the stars, populated with food carts, beer and cider on tap and plenty of laughs and dancing festivities. Yomama Cover Band ensured the tunes were pumping long into the night as the sunset on a perfect celebration.
Thanks so much, Stevie + Mitch for a stellar of a day.
