We are story seekers with a passion to document the sweet, fun + hidden gems of a day that goes by so quickly. Stories are at the foundation of all of our films, and I've been ever so lucky to witness so many love stories over my past 10 years working in this wonderful wedding industry.
Back in February 2018, we ran a little competition on our social channels, giving one lucky couple the opportunity to win the wedding film of their dreams... all they needed to do, was to tell us their story of how they became a couple... in a video. The lovely Courtney + Brent were fortunate to win this amazing giveaway after getting their league of friends and family to vote and it couldn't have gone to a more wonderfully amazing, friendly and gorgeous couple!
We trekked on up to Granya, NSW - a small town about 50 minutes outside of Albury Wodonga. Their wedding day was held at The Wool Press - a restored shearing shed housed on acres of pristine farmlands with spectacular views no matter what way you turn. This place is unlike anything I have seen before... literally in the middle of nowhere and breathtaking sights aplenty.
The day kicked off as Brent and the boys enjoyed a round at the local golf driving range in Wodonga, before getting suited up in their Tarocash suits. The girls were busy with their final touches of hair and makeup on my arrival before it was soon time for Courtney to get into her Stella York gown with florals by One Day In March... looking absolutely stunning I might add!
Their ceremony was officiated by the easy going and quick-witted Simon Goss who was a pleasure to work alongside. As Courtney made her grand entrance via Kombi arrival, you couldn't wipe the smiles and happy tears off Brett's face who was at the pinnacle of happiness soon to be marrying his one true love. After exchanging some heartfelt personal vows, a kiss made it all official announcing them to their family and friends as the new Mr & Mrs Ohlin.
As guests enjoyed the sights and atmosphere during cocktail hour, we headed alongside Kelsey Jane Photography with Courtney, Brent and bridal party for some pics around the stunning property. So much gold. So much love and fun, including riding on the back of a tractor between locations and chasing that beautiful sunlight.
The reception styling was by K.Y Design and all looked absolutely amazing teaming in with the rustic setting and rolling hills picturesque landscape.
As the night continued on, Solace Duo pumped the tunes ensuring all were having a great time on the dance floor as the celebrations flowed long into the night.
Courtney + Brent, what can I say? Thank you both so much for such a stellar day. You two are absolutely amazing people and I was beyond thrilled to capture your special celebration.
